Stefan Risko serves as Director of Business Development at the TITLE AGENCY, bringing over a decade of mortgage industry experience and a team-driven leadership mindset to partnership growth and strategic expansion.

Stefan’s competitive drive traces back to his days as a junior hockey player and collegiate soccer athlete, a foundation that continues to shape how he approaches business development. A graduate of Arizona State University with a degree in Business, he brings discipline, accountability, and a commitment to exceeding expectations to every relationship he builds.

Prior to joining the TITLE AGENCY, Stefan spent 10 years at Rocket Mortgage, where he built and led high-performing teams before transitioning into roles as a National Wholesale Account Executive and Strategic Partnerships Account Executive. During that time, he developed a comprehensive understanding of residential lending from both the consumer and business perspective, giving him unique insight into operational timelines, communication gaps, and expectation-setting within real estate transactions.

What distinguishes Stefan is the breadth of his experience. His background spans B2C and B2B mortgage lending, Human Capital Management consulting, and B2B software sales. This cross-functional perspective allows him to navigate complex conversations, align long-term goals, and create structured pathways for partnership success.

As Director of Business Development, Stefan focuses on cultivating strategic relationships with agents, lenders, and industry professionals. He believes smooth transactions begin long before the closing table through clear communication, properly set expectations, and consistent execution. His approach prioritizes clarity, follow-through, and delivering an elevated experience at every stage of the process.

Originally from Grosse Ile, Michigan, Stefan splits his time between Detroit in the summer and Scottsdale in the winter. Outside of work, he enjoys golf and skiing in the mountains.
